Learn MoreThe harbingers of good work, do not ask for an acknowledgement. They serve their cause, dedicate it to the society and gracefully bid adieu to the world. It is for the latter to pick up from there and add on the initiatives. It is also left to the society to acknowledge good deeds and celebrate such icons whose works constitute landmarks for replication. Not doing that is actually not being fair to humanity. Just a few stray mentions here and there actually do not suffice. A proper enunciation of the contributions of a person duly communicated to the world only, typically, does justice to both: the achiever, as well as the society and the posterity. Hitherto, however, there has been a void in this domain and there has been a dire need to fill the bill which we have been trying to do in a domain which appears lacking in zeal.
